Neighborhood Toy Store Day: Celebrating Community

Posted by aMuse Toys on October 25, 2011 0 Comments

National Neighborhood Toy Store Day (NTSD), sponsored by the American Toy Retailing Association (ASTRA), is a celebration of the many wonderful and unique independent toy stores in cities and towns all across the country.

For aMuse Toys, National Neighborhood Toy Store Day is an opportunity to celebrate our community.  We not only hope to continue to build awareness of the economic importance of buying locally and supporting independents, we will also be raising funds for a worthwhile Baltimore organization.

With the help of our customers, 15% of aMuse Toys proceeds will be donated to a local non-profit organization that aims to better the lives of children and families in our community.

To cast your vote visit our National Neighborhood Toy Store Day event page on Facebook.  Not on Facebook? Simply leave a comment on this post with the name of one of the following organizations you choose to support.

One vote per person will be tallied, so please spread the word to friends and family. The organization with the most votes will be announced on November 8th.

1. Blue Water Baltimore

Working towards clean water in Baltimore’s rivers, streams, and harbor for the health and enjoyment of Baltimore City residents and visitors.

2. House of Ruth
